ZLATOSLAV

Yarrow «Zlatoslav» is a perennial herbaceous plant of the aster family, distinguished by bright flower heads and attractive insect floristics. The bush reaches a height of 60 cm to 1.2 m depending on the variety, while the leaves have a fern-like structure, pinnately divided and slightly greyish in shade. When the leaves are rubbed, a characteristic aroma is released, which is valued both in decorative and folk medicine.

Flowering begins in June and continues until the end of August, while the inflorescences retain their brightness even under direct sunlight. Flowers come in various shades – from carmine-red with a yellow center (variety Red Beauty) to snow-white buds (variety Alabaster). They are gathered in shield-like inflorescences that attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators, contributing to the biodiversity of the garden.

Yarrow «Zlatoslav» is distinguished by high resistance to drought, diseases and frost. The plant does not require special care: it is suitable for sunny and shade-tolerant areas, grows on poor dry soils without the need for fertilization. To maintain the decorative quality of the bush, it is recommended to remove withered inflorescences every 3–5 years and replant the plant into new pots or beds if necessary. Due to its undemanding nature, it is widely used in landscape design, as an element of living fences, natural style flowerbeds, as well as for greening balconies, terraces and verandas.
