BEMBI is a valuable salad and spinach plant that is perfectly suited for garden and backyard plots, as well as for home and farm enterprises. The plant is grown in open ground and can also be sown through seedlings. Due to its compactness and uniform germination, BEMBI easily fits into a planting scheme of 10 × 10 cm, which ensures dense growth and high yield.
The BEMBI leaf blade is lanceolate with appendages. The average leaf length is 14 cm, the width is 0.8 cm, the color is green, and the surface is smooth. The leaf rosette is semi-lifted, has an average diameter of 15 cm and a height of about 20 cm; the weight of one rosette is approximately 15 g. These parameters make the plant convenient for harvesting and subsequent use in cooking.
The yield of BEMBI reaches 1.5 kg/m², and the plant can withstand frosts, although it does not survive winter in the Moscow region. Thanks to its nutritional properties, the plant is widely used for preparing dietary soups, salads, and side dishes, giving dishes a fresh taste and beneficial properties.
