Rose TAN09283

A compact accent with German pedigree

The TAN09283 rose from the legendary German breeding house Rosen-Tantau Mathias Tantau Nachfolger is a choice for those seeking the perfect balance between classic Hybrid Tea aesthetics and modern, manageable form. Unlike taller varieties, this rose remains within the 40–60 cm range, making it a versatile tool for precise landscape design or intensive cut-flower production.

Key advantages and application

• Professional-grade cut flower: Despite its modest bush height, the blooms retain all the characteristics typical of elite Rosen-Tantau varieties — exceptional petal density and a pure, crisp white color.
• Controlled growth: The low-growing habit eliminates the need for heavy staking and makes it ideal for front-border plantings or container gardening.
• German breeding standards: The TAN09283 shows remarkable resilience against temperature fluctuations and common cultural diseases, a hallmark of the Tantau nursery.

This variety is optimal for gardeners who value minimalism and clean lines. Its pure white hue contrasts beautifully with dark green foliage, adding a fresh visual appeal to any garden. In commercial use, the variety is highly regarded for its predictable blooming cycles and ease of harvest. A potential drawback is its high demand for light; to maintain the intense white color and compact shape, the plant requires full sun. Without sufficient exposure, the shoots may become leggy, leading to a loss in aesthetic quality.
