Narcissus Acropolis – an artificially bred variety symbolizing a bountiful spring. It features large, bowl-shaped flowers with a diameter of up to 10–12 cm and a creamy color, accompanied by an aromatic, sweet scent. The blooming period lasts about three weeks in April–May, and the plant height is 40–50 cm, making it ideal for both flower beds and bouquets.
Acropolis bulbs are grown in the Netherlands and have a hardiness zone of 3–4. The plant establishes quickly, is weather-resistant, and requires no complex care: it needs good drainage, moderate watering, and soil loosening. When planting, bulbs are placed at a depth of 10 cm with a distance of about 10 cm between plants. The optimal time for planting is September–October.
Acropolis is perfect for both open ground and containers; it can be used in gardens, flower beds, or for cutting. Bulbs are delivered in perforated packets, ensuring good ventilation. The plant does not need frequent replanting – typically, it is done every 3–5 years after planting. Due to its weather resistance and ability to maintain flower shape for up to a week in a vase, Acropolis is a reliable choice for those who value beauty and ease of care.
