Tulip Mary Belle

The Reliability of «Marie Belle»: A Triumph Class Benchmark

The «Marie Belle» tulip has firmly established itself in the commercial market as a reliable Triumph class variety. Prized by professional growers, it balances the architectural elegance of a classic tulip shape with robust physiological defenses, making it a staple for both forced cut flower production and professional landscaping.

Resilience and Phytosanitary Profile

What sets «Marie Belle» apart is its superior genetic resilience. In professional cultivation, where disease pressure can compromise an entire season, this variety offers a significant advantage by reducing the need for intensive chemical intervention:

• Resistance to Fusarium wilt: Provides security when cultivating in repeated-use substrates.
• Tolerance to Verticillium wilt: Reliable performance even in soil profiles with history of fungal pathogens.
• Inherent immunity: Highly resistant to Cladosporium and Tomato Mosaic Virus, ensuring lower culling rates and higher yields.

Visual Impact and Market Application

Visually, «Marie Belle» is striking for its depth of color. The petals feature a rich red base overlaid with subtle, sophisticated lilac tones, creating a vibrant effect under various light conditions. Its medium height is intentionally balanced, providing sturdy stems that withstand environmental stress, ensuring high-quality, straight-cut stems that are highly favored in the floral trade.

As a mid-season bloomer, it offers consistency and predictability. It is an ideal choice for growers who prioritize efficient crop management without compromising on the aesthetic demand of the modern cut-flower market.
