Lada

The Lada rose variety is a hybrid obtained from the crossbreeding of Rosa alba L. and Michurinka (Rosa damascena Mill. x Rosa gallica L.). This variety is characterized by high flower yield - 53.6 centners per hectare, as well as significant essential oil content - 0.132%, which ensures an essential oil harvest volume of 4.76 kg per hectare. Lada flowers are delicate pink, double-flowered, with a diameter of about 14 cm, and have a strong aroma. On one stem, from one to three flowers form, which makes the blooming abundant and prolonged. Bushes reach a height of 100 to 140 cm and have a moderate number of thorns - about 10-16 pieces per 10 cm shoot. The Lada variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, withstanding frost down to -23°C, and resistance to rust, making it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions. When central buds are damaged, the plant is able to form side flowering shoots, ensuring reblooming. The rose exhibits high resistance to diseases, including high resistance to black spot and medium resistance to rain, which helps maintain decorative and essential oil qualities under unfavorable weather conditions. Lada is a valuable essential oil variety, widely used in the perfume and cosmetic industries due to its high essential oil content and pronounced aroma. Bushes form strong growth and abundant formation of new shoots, which facilitates care and increases productivity. Due to its characteristics, the Lada variety is suitable for growing both on an industrial scale and for decorative purposes in gardens and parks.
