Tulip Blossom Time

Striking Classic for Your Garden

The 'Blossom Time' tulip belongs to the Triumph class, which secures its main advantages: a classic goblet-shaped bud and high resistance to unpredictable spring weather. Unlike many early-blooming varieties, this tulip is not prone to deformation during temperature swings, making it a favorite for both professional floriculturists and home gardeners.

Visual Impact

The primary visual advantage of this variety is its high-contrast, two-tone coloration. The blend of deep red and pure white creates a vibrant “glow” in the flowerbed. Thanks to its medium stem height, it is an ideal candidate for mid-ground landscaping, where it does not hide smaller plants but maintains a strong presence in the garden.

Technical Superiority

The main reason to choose this variety is its genetically inherent immunity. While many classic tulips require rigorous fungicide treatments, 'Blossom Time' demonstrates impressive resilience against diseases that typically plague bulbous plants:

• Verticillium wilt — minimal risk of soil-borne infection.
• Tobacco mosaic virus — ensures the petal pattern remains clean and consistent.
• Fusarium wilt — high bulb survival rate during dormancy.
• Cladosporium — strong resistance to leaf spotting even during wet seasons.

Who is this variety for: It is the ideal choice for those who value the balance between aesthetic appeal and ease of maintenance. It serves as a reliable option for commercial forcing or as a striking addition to a private garden where consistency and disease resistance are paramount.
