Tulip Funny Girl

Elegant and Resilient: The «Funny Girl» Advantage

The «Funny Girl» tulip belongs to the Triumph class, known for its perfect glass-shaped bloom and robust constitution. Unlike many bicolor hybrids that require constant care, this variety boasts impressive resistance to common soil-borne pathogens. For professional growers, this means predictable results even in challenging field conditions, where the risk of wilting is often a major concern.

Technical Strengths

The defining characteristic of this hybrid is its superior immune profile. «Funny Girl» demonstrates high resistance to:

• Verticillium wilt;
• Fusarium wilt;
• Cladosporium;
• Tobacco mosaic virus.

This resistance makes it a highly reliable choice for planting in plots with historically poor soil health. With its medium flowering time and optimal stem height, the plant holds up well against spring winds and rain, eliminating the need for complex support structures.

Visual Impact and Market Appeal

The aesthetic appeal of «Funny Girl» lies in its striking contrast between white and red petals, making it a standout in both landscaping and commercial floral arrangements. Unlike more delicate varieties, this hybrid maintains its freshness for an extended period after cutting. If you are looking for a dependable, mid-season bloomer that minimizes the need for frequent fungicide applications, «Funny Girl» is a stable and profitable choice for any professional collection.
