Kharkivskaya Support is a variety of hard wheat, developed by the Institute of Plant Growing named after V.Ya. Yur'ev of NAAN, characterized by high yield and adaptability to various growing conditions. According to research results from 2019–2021, this variety has a yield of 4.74 t/ha, indicating its effectiveness in agricultural production. Kharkivskaya Support wheat is among the promising varieties that combine resistance to abiotic and biotic factors, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. The variety has optimal agronomic characteristics, including vegetative period, plant height, and grain quality. The vegetative period of wheat lasts approximately 91 days, allowing effective planning of crop rotations and sowing dates. The grain of this variety is characterized by high quality, particularly good baking properties, making it suitable for food use. Grain indicators, protein content, gluten content, and flour strength meet modern standards, confirming its competitiveness in the cereal market. Kharkivskaya Support is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Steppes, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia, indicating its wide application. The recommended seeding rate is 4.5–5.0 million seeds per hectare, with optimal sowing dates planned for early periods, with the possibility of sowing during "February windows" in southern regions. Due to its characteristics, this wheat variety is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality grain yield with excellent baking properties.
