Zlatoust

The tomato variety 'Zlatoust' is a fast-maturing determinate variety with a rich history dating back about 40 years. It was developed in the Siberian region and successfully adapted for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including the Moscow region. Plants reach a height of 60 to 90 centimeters, making them suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses and polytunnels. The fruit ripening period is 90-100 days, allowing for a quick harvest.

The fruits of the 'Zlatoust' tomato have a heart-shaped, slightly flattened form and a pink or raspberry color. Their weight ranges from 300 grams to one kilogram, with flesh that is meaty, juicy, and sweet in flavor with low organic acid content. Thanks to these qualities, the tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, juice production, tomato paste, sauces, and are excellent for slicing, freezing, and use in various culinary dishes, including salads and salsas.

The variety is characterized by high yield — in greenhouse conditions, it reaches 9-10 kg per square meter. Additionally, 'Zlatoust' is resistant to cold and various diseases, making it a low-maintenance and reliable choice for gardeners.
