YELLOW CANDY

Yellow Candy is a fast-maturing, tall tomato hybrid reaching over 200 cm in height, suitable for cultivation in both greenhouse and open ground with mandatory support on stakes. The time from germination to fruiting is approximately 95-100 days. Plants form a single stem with removal of all suckers, promoting better growth and fruiting. At the 5th flower cluster, it is recommended to gradually remove lower leaves, and after formation of 8-10 clusters, pinch back the stem, leaving two leaves above the last cluster. Sowing for seedlings is conducted at the end of March to early April, transplanting at the first true leaf stage, and planting in the ground at the beginning to mid-May; under warm weather, planting may be done at the end of April. Recommended planting scheme — 40×60 cm.

The fruits of the Yellow Candy tomato are round and bright yellow, weighing between 15 to 30 grams each. They are arranged in long clusters containing 20 to 40 fruits, giving the plant a distinctive decorative appearance. Due to their high sugar content, the fruits have a very sweet taste, making them an excellent treat for children and a beautiful table decoration. Additionally, tomatoes are suitable for making colorful assortments and can be used as a thickener in canning.

The hybrid is characterized by early and abundant fruiting with a prolonged harvest period. Yield per plant ranges from 1 to 2 kg. Strong indeterminate plants require regular care, including suckering and staking, to ensure optimal development and high-quality fruits.
