Venera

The VENERA tomato variety is a medium-early indeterminate bush that reaches a height of 1.6 to 1.8 meters under greenhouse conditions, and is usually lower in open ground. Successful cultivation requires strong support and regular pinching. Best results are achieved by forming the plant into one or two stems, which promotes optimal growth and fruiting.

The VENERA tomato fruits have an original pear-shaped form with ribbing near the stem and are colored deep red when ripe. They are meaty, have excellent taste, and are versatile in use — suitable for both fresh consumption and canning. The weight of one tomato varies from 120 to 150 grams, and with proper care, up to 9 kilograms of quality fruits can be harvested per square meter.

The variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to a number of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, verticillium and fusarium wilt, as well as root-knot nematodes. The plants form strong, well-branched bushes, with 5-6 fruits per cluster. Thanks to their dense structure and attractive appearance, the tomatoes withstand transportation well, making VENERA an excellent choice for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses.
