Tomato BELLA ROSSA F1

Tomato Bella Rosa F1 — a medium-early, high-yielding determinate hybrid developed by the Japanese breeding company Sakata. The plant is strong with a well-developed leaf canopy, ensuring good adaptability to various growing conditions. The hybrid is resistant to stress factors, including high temperatures, and exhibits high resistance to several diseases, such as verticillium and fusarium wilt, alternaria stem blight, and has moderate resistance to tomato leaf mold virus. The plant is recommended for cultivation in open ground or under temporary covers, with stem support advised. Optimal planting density is up to 20,000 plants per hectare. The fruits of tomato Bella Rosa F1 are large, round-oval in shape, bright red in color without green spots at the stem attachment. The weight of one fruit ranges from 200 to 300 grams; they are multi-chambered, juicy, and meaty with a smooth surface, not prone to cracking. High sugar and dry matter content gives the fruits a rich flavor, making them versatile for various uses. Tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, juice, sauces, pasta, and preservation. Thanks to their excellent commercial qualities and good transportability, the fruits retain an attractive appearance even after long-distance transport. The vegetative period of tomato Bella Rosa F1 after transplanting seedlings is approximately 75 days. The hybrid has a prolonged fruiting period, allowing for a steady harvest. Harvesting is done manually, ensuring careful handling and preservation of the fruits. Due to its combination of high yield, disease resistance, and exceptional taste, tomato Bella Rosa F1 is an excellent choice for both commercial cultivation and home gardeners seeking quality and delicious produce.
