Tomato VEDI 3

Tomato VEDI 3 is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid with pink fruits, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. The plant is tall, vigorous, with a strong root system and shortened internodes, facilitating vertical cultivation on supports or trellises. The hybrid exhibits high stress tolerance and resistance to pathogens such as Ma, Mi, and Mj (root-knot nematodes), ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. The fruits of tomato VEDI 3 are large, round, smooth, dark pink in color, without green spot at the stem attachment point. Average fruit weight is about 250 grams. They are firm, have excellent taste, good transportability and storability, making this hybrid particularly attractive for commercial cultivation and marketing. When grown in plastic greenhouses, the hybrid demonstrates excellent yield and fruit quality. The cultivation system requires mandatory staking and plant shaping, which promotes optimal growth and fruiting. Due to its characteristics, tomato VEDI 3 is suitable for obtaining high-quality yields with excellent taste and long storage life, making it in demand both for fresh consumption and transportation.
