Tomato Sakura F1

Tomato Sakura F1 is an early, high-yielding hybrid cocktail cherry tomato developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. The plant is indeterminate, tall, and vigorous, capable of reaching up to 3 meters in protected ground, ensuring a prolonged fruiting season. The crop features an open growth habit with large clusters and elongated internodes, promoting even and synchronized fruit ripening. The hybrid is resistant to adverse conditions, including low light, low temperatures, and temperature fluctuations, allowing cultivation both in protected and open ground. The fruits of tomato Sakura F1 have a bright red color, round shape, and weight ranging from 18 to 25 grams. They grow in grape-like clusters and possess a dense structure, providing resistance to cracking. The tomatoes have excellent flavor — sweet and juicy — making them popular in the fresh vegetable market. Due to their attractive appearance, good transportability, and ability to store for long periods, the fruits of this hybrid are in demand for both retail and fresh consumption. The plants of tomato Sakura F1 exhibit high resistance to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, brown spot, cladosporeiosis, and fusarium, as well as moderate resistance to nematodes. The hybrid requires minimal care, simplifying cultivation. The fruits are intended for single harvest, simplifying collection and increasing efficiency. All these characteristics make tomato Sakura F1 an excellent choice for professional cultivation in greenhouses and open fields.
