Ardia F1 — an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in polyethylene and glass greenhouses. The plant is vigorous and open, forming 6–8 fruits per node. Fruits have a cylindrical shape with large bumps, uniform in size and colored in a deep green. Their length is 8–10 cm with a diameter of 3.5–4 cm, giving a length-to-diameter ratio of approximately 3.2:1. The flesh is dense, crisp, and juicy, without bitterness, and the skin is tender, making the cucumbers excellent for fresh consumption, pickling, and marination. The fruits do not overgrow or yellow, possess high marketability and good transportability. Hybrid Ardia F1 exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, and tolerance to downy mildew. It also withstands air drought, high temperatures, and insufficient light, enabling successful cultivation during the late summer to autumn period in the second crop. The plant is medium-height with female flowering, fruiting begins on day 45–50 after sowing. Total yield reaches 7–9 kg per square meter, making this hybrid highly productive and economically viable for cultivation. Ardia F1 seeds are suitable for cultivation in various regions, including Ukraine, and can be used for both seedling and direct sowing into the soil. Recommended planting depth is 2–5 cm, with spacing between plants of about 30 cm. Optimal temperature for seed germination is 25–30°C. The hybrid is well-suited for salads and pickles, thanks to its excellent taste and pickling qualities. The package contains 10 seeds, convenient for both home and commercial cultivation.
