Tigris

Tomato variety Tigris is an early-maturing indeterminate type with a maturation period from germination to harvest of about 95-100 days. The plant features unlimited growth and is well-suited for cultivation in open ground with mandatory support on stakes. For increased yield, it is recommended to grow tomatoes in greenhouses with plant shaping. The fruits of the Tigris variety have an attractive round shape and unique striped coloration, weighing 90-100 grams.

The fruits of this tomato are highly decorative, making them an excellent choice for creating original "striped" canned goods, as well as for preparing interesting buffet appetizers and salads. The flesh is sweet with a pleasant acidity, possessing a rich flavor and aroma. The tomatoes do not drop or crack on the plant over a long period, ensuring stable fruiting and ease of harvest.

Sowing seeds for seedlings is recommended in early to mid-April, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground in early to mid-May, when the plants reach 30-35 days of age. Seeds of the Tigris variety retain germination for up to 10 years under optimal storage conditions; however, after expiration, it is recommended to increase the sowing rate to ensure good germination.
