Tomato PEACH

Ultra-early tomato for canning and fresh market

The «Persik» (Peach) variety from the Gavrish breeding firm is a strategic choice for producers focusing on early harvest cycles and high fruit uniformity. As a determinate variety, it is engineered for efficiency, reducing the need for intensive pruning or trellis work, which translates into lower labor costs per hectare.

Practical application and cultivation strategies

The primary advantage of this variety is its extremely fast maturation period of up to 90 days. This makes it an essential tool for farms aiming to capture early-season market pricing or needing to clear land for secondary crop rotations. With a yield potential of up to 50 tons per hectare, it provides a stable economic return.

• Marketability: The fruits, ranging from 40 to 80 grams, feature a unique cream, orange, or pink color palette, which sets them apart in the fresh produce aisle. Their size makes them perfectly suited for whole-fruit canning.
• Resilience: The fruits are resistant to cracking, a critical factor for farmers who need to transport their produce to distribution hubs without significant post-harvest losses.

For best results, focus your nutrient management program on potassium uptake during the fruit-filling stage. Given its determinate growth habit, ensuring adequate nutrition early on is key to achieving the maximum yield and consistent sizing required for commercial retail standards.
