Tomato SX-1 — a medium-height variety developed by the well-known Ukrainian breeder Rudas, characterized by a medium-early ripening period of 90-100 days. Plants of this variety reach a height of up to 0.8 meters, making them convenient for cultivation and maintenance. The fruits are red in color and have a plum shape, with an average weight of each tomato around 80 grams.
This tomato variety is distinguished by high yield — up to 10-11 kg per square meter, making it attractive for both amateur and commercial cultivation. The fruits of variety SX-1 have good commercial qualities: they are firm, transportable, and ideal for canning in slices, as well as for fresh consumption.
A distinctive feature of tomato SX-1 is its increased resistance to major tomato diseases, particularly phytophthora, which significantly reduces the risk of crop loss and decreases the need for frequent application of chemical protective agents. Thanks to these qualities, this variety is in high demand among gardeners and farmers.
