Tomato SX-1 — a medium-height variety developed by the well-known Ukrainian breeder Rudas, characterized by a medium-early ripening period of 90-100 days. Plants of this variety reach a height of up to 0.8 meters, making them convenient for cultivation and maintenance. The fruits are red in color and have a plum shape, with an average weight of each tomato around 80 grams.
This tomato variety is distinguished by high yield — up to 10-11 kg per square meter, making it attractive for both amateur and commercial cultivation. The fruits of variety SX-1 have good commercial qualities: they are firm, transportable, and ideal for canning in slices, as well as for fresh consumption.
A distinctive feature of tomato SX-1 is its increased resistance to major tomato diseases, particularly phytophthora, which significantly reduces the risk of crop loss and decreases the need for frequent application of chemical protective agents.
