The SX-3 tomato variety is the result of selection by the well-known Ukrainian breeder A.P. Rudas and was developed in the cities of Smida and Kherson. It is a determinate, mid-season variety with plant height of about 0.7-0.8 meters. The vegetation period from germination to fruit ripening is approximately 110-120 days, allowing it to be grown in open ground with a stable yield.
The fruits of the SX-3 variety have a characteristic plum-like shape and a rich red color. The average weight of the tomatoes ranges from 90 to 120 grams. They are distinguished by their dense and firm structure, making them especially suitable for slicing and whole-fruit canning.
