Tomato Sultan is a mid-early hybrid developed by Dutch breeders, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. It is a determinate type plant, compact, with a plant height of 50 to 60 centimeters, allowing it to be grown without pinching. Leaves are medium-sized, dark green, and the plants form 2-3 stems for optimal growth. Seedlings should be transplanted 50-55 days after sowing.
The fruits of Tomato Sultan have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing near the stem, and mature to a rich red color. The weight of one tomato ranges from 120 to 180 grams, growing in clusters of 5-7 fruits. The fruit skin is dense, providing good protection against cracking and facilitating long-term storage and transport.
