Tomato STARRY RAIN

The tomato hybrid 'Starry Rain' is an early-maturing indeterminate variety intended for cultivation under plastic coverings. The plant requires staking and pruning, which promotes optimal growth and increases yield. Leaves are medium-sized, green, flower clusters are intermediate. The pedicel has a joint, facilitating harvest. This hybrid is suitable for both salad use and whole-fruit canning.

The fruits of 'Starry Rain' are round, smooth, and medium density, with 2 to 3 locules. Unripe fruits have a light green color without a spot at the base, while ripe fruits turn bright orange. Fruit weight is approximately 11 grams, and flavor is excellent. Marketable fruit yield reaches 6.5 kg per square meter, making this hybrid attractive to gardeners seeking early and stable harvests.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to Fusarium wilt and viral diseases of tomatoes, ensuring reliable cultivation and reducing risk of losses. It is recommended to train plants as single stems and plant at a density of 4–5 plants per square meter. Due to its characteristics and resistance, 'Starry Rain' is an excellent choice for plastic greenhouses and small plots, providing a stable and high-quality early tomato harvest.
