Tomato Sherbet is a medium-ripening variety with a maturation period from germination to fruiting of about 110-115 days. The plant is indeterminate with unlimited growth, requiring mandatory staking and training into a single stem with removal of suckers and lower leaves. For planting, a scheme of 40x60 cm is recommended, and seedling transplanting into greenhouses should be done in May. The fruits have an egg-shaped form, slightly ribbed, weighing from 70 to 120 grams, colored raspberry-red when ripe and light-green when unripe. The fruit flavor is sweet, reminiscent of sugar sherbet, making them especially attractive for fresh consumption and summer salads. The plant is tall, reaching about 1.8 meters in height, requiring additional care and staking. The fruits have a dense structure and pleasant dessert flavor, allowing them to be used not only for fresh consumption but also for whole-fruit canning. Due to its resistance to certain diseases, such as cladosporiosis and tobacco mosaic virus, the variety demonstrates good resilience and stable fruiting. Seed sowing is recommended in March, followed by transplanting when the first true leaf appears. Fruits are harvested as they ripen, allowing for an extended harvest period. A distinctive feature of this variety is its versatility and high decorative value due to its bright coloration and attractive fruit shape, making Tomato Sherbet an excellent choice for cultivation in plastic and glass greenhouses.
