RUMYANETS

Tomato variety RUMYANETS is a medium-maturing, tall plant reaching up to 1.5 meters in height. The fruits of this variety have an elegant elongated-oval shape, are characterized by a smooth, glossy surface, and uniform size. Their color is unique — golden-pink with pink streaks, giving the tomatoes an attractive appearance. Each fruit weighs between 25 to 40 grams, and the flavor is harmonious, slightly acidic-sweet and aromatic, making them popular for fresh consumption as well as culinary uses. The RUMYANETS variety is undemanding and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The fruits have a two-toned striped appearance and a sweet, rich aroma, making them suitable for preparing exquisite desserts and haute cuisine dishes. The plant is warm-loving, requiring a sunny location protected from cold winds, as well as loamy soils enriched with organic fertilizers for optimal growth and fruiting. Cultivation techniques include sowing seedlings in early March using nutrient-rich pots measuring 10x10 cm. Seedlings are grown for 55-60 days, after which they are transplanted to their permanent location in the second decade of May with row spacing of 50x50 cm. To accelerate ripening and increase yield, it is recommended to temporarily cover the plants with plastic film until stable warmth arrives. A single plant can yield up to 15 kg of fruit, making the RUMYANETS variety attractive to gardeners aiming for high-quality and abundant harvests.
