SEMCO SOYUZ

Tomato Semko-Soyuz F1 is a mid-early determinate hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The time from seedlings to fruit ripening ranges from 85 to 112 days depending on growing conditions. The plant reaches a height of about 70 cm, has simple or intermediate inflorescences, with the first truss forming above the 5th-7th leaf, and subsequent trusses forming every 1-2 leaves. The optimal planting scheme varies from 70x30 cm to 90x25 cm, which contributes to high yields.

The fruits of tomato Semko-Soyuz are red, flat-round in shape with a smooth surface, weighing from 100 to 150 g. They are multi-chambered, usually three- or four-chambered, without a green spot at the calyx. The taste qualities of the fruits are excellent, with dry matter content around 5.5%, total sugar 4.1%, and ascorbic acid up to 18 mg%. The hybrid is characterized by good transportability, resistance to cracking, and high fruit marketability.

Semko-Soyuz F1 exhibits resistance to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), alternaria, fusarium, and blossom end rot. The hybrid also shows drought tolerance and moderate resistance to phytophthora. Due to these characteristics, the tomato is suitable for fresh consumption and canning, providing a stable and high-quality yield ranging from 8 to 14 kg per square meter depending on growing conditions.
