Sarmat

Tomato Sarmat is a medium-early determinate variety with a vegetative period of 111-115 days, intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of about 60-100 cm, with a strong and moderately branched bush. The variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to major tomato diseases, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers.

The fruits of tomato Sarmat have an oval shape, red color without green spot at the stem, fleshy and dense, weighing from 100 to 150 grams. They are distinguished by juiciness, good taste, and absence of cracks, ensuring excellent storability and transportability. Due to these qualities, tomatoes are suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing into tomato products, canning, and pickling.

Growing this variety requires seedling method with seed planting depth of 1-1.5 cm and germination temperature around +12-13°C. Optimal conditions for plant development — temperature +22-27°C, stable moderate moisture, and sufficient light. Seedlings are transplanted at 50-60 days old with density of 3-4 plants per square meter. The tomato responds well to application of organic and mineral fertilizers. The variety is suitable for combine harvesting, which facilitates harvest collection and increases cultivation efficiency.
