Tomato Pavlina

Czech Breeding for Professional Growers

The 'Pavlina' variety from the Czech seed company Semo S.R.O. is a testament to the reliability expected from European breeding. Designed specifically for open-field cultivation, this determinate tomato variety has earned its place on the market by offering consistent performance and resilience in various environmental conditions.

Key Agronomic Features

As a mid-to-late season variety, 'Pavlina' requires 120-130 days to reach maturity. The determinate growth habit ensures a compact, manageable plant that is easy to maintain and harvest. The fruit itself is characterized by a bright red color and a distinct flat-round shape, with individual fruits weighing between 100 and 150 grams.

• Fruit Structure: The fruit contains 4-6 locules, providing the density necessary for marketability.
• Logistics: The variety exhibits excellent transportability, ensuring the fruit reaches the end consumer in prime condition even after long-distance shipping.
• Storage: One of the standout features is its long shelf life; the harvested tomatoes maintain their market quality for 20-30 days.

With the backing of Semo's extensive experience in agricultural science, the 'Pavlina' variety remains a preferred choice for farmers who prioritize a balance between reliable yields and the durability required for effective post-harvest management.
