Tomato Salsa

Stable Yield for Market Sales

The «Salsa» tomato from PP "Agrosvit" is a choice for farmers focused on long-term produce sales without sacrificing marketability. The medium-late maturation period (120-130 days) makes this variety an optimal solution for ensuring market supply at the end of the season when demand for high-quality produce peaks.

Agronomic Advantages

When selecting seed material for industrial scales, shelf life and transportability become key factors. "Salsa" features a dense fruit structure (4-6 chambers), allowing the harvest to be transported over long distances without risk of damage. Key specifications:

• Shape: classic flat-round.
• Weight: 150-200 grams, the "gold standard" for the fresh market.
• Storage: maintains marketability for over 30 days after harvest.
• Yield: reaches 70-100 tons per hectare under proper agronomic management.

Practical Application on the Farm

This variety is most effective for operations working with wholesale suppliers and retail chains. Due to its long shelf life, producers can hold the product until market prices are most favorable. Given the 150-200 gram fruit weight, "Salsa" is ideal for both tray packaging and bulk net sales. The variety shows excellent responsiveness to drip irrigation and intensive fertilization, allowing growers to fully unleash its 100-ton/ha yield potential.
