Tomato Cherokki F1 is an early indeterminate hybrid developed by the Italian company Esasem. The plant features strong growth, reaching heights of 1.2 to 2 meters, and forms up to eight fruiting trusses, each bearing 7-10 large, uniformly sized fruits. For optimal development, plants require staking and pruning to two stems. The hybrid is adapted to various climatic conditions, including hot weather, and shows high resistance to major tomato diseases such as fusarium wilt, verticillium wilt, nematodes, and tomato mosaic virus. Cherokki F1 tomatoes have bright red coloration without green spots or veins, round shape with pronounced ribbing at the stem end, weight ranging from 160 to 200 grams, and dense structure with numerous chambers. They are juicy, meaty, and possess excellent sweet flavor with a slight acidity. Due to their thick skin, the fruits are well-suited for transport and do not crack, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into juices and sauces. High dry matter content enhances the flavor of the tomatoes. For maximum yield, Cherokki F1 is recommended for cultivation under cover with regular applications of organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as protection against pests. In open ground, yields are lower, but the hybrid retains fruiting ability and continues to grow even under stressful conditions. Tomatoes are widely used in fresh salads, as garnishes, and in various culinary preparations, making them a versatile and popular variety among gardeners and professional growers.
