Tomato SHARK

The tomato variety SHARK is a medium-maturing determinate bush reaching a height of about 80 centimeters. The plant has medium-sized light-green leaves and requires staking and partial pinching up to the first flower cluster for optimal growth. The fruits of this variety are flat-round, slightly ribbed, and glossy, turning a deep red color upon ripening. They are characterized by dense flesh, firm skin, and high dry matter and sugar content, ensuring excellent taste and good keeping quality after harvest. The weight of a single tomato ranges from 160 to 200 grams. The SHARK variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. With proper agronomy, yield reaches 3.5-4.5 kg per plant in open ground and up to 6 kg under greenhouse conditions. Marketable yield can amount to 9-11 kg per square meter. These tomatoes are versatile in use: they are suitable for fresh consumption, juice, sauce, and all types of processing. SHARK exhibits high resistance to diseases such as fusarium wilt, verticillium wilt, and leaf spot. Thanks to their firm skin and balanced composition, the fruits can be stored for some time after harvest without losing their quality. This variety is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking a stable, high-quality tomato harvest with good flavor.
