Description Rodion
Tomato Rodion F1 is a mid-season determinate hybrid of Dutch selection, developed by specialists of the company Hazera (Vilmorin). The plant is compact, up to 70-80 cm tall, with abundant foliage, which contributes to good adaptation to high temperatures and intense sunlight. The hybrid exhibits high immunity to a wide range of diseases, ensuring a stable yield even under standard open-ground cultivation conditions.

The fruits of tomato Rodion have a plum-shaped, oval form and bright red color. The average weight of one tomato is about 50-80 grams. The flesh is meaty, with small seed chambers and a thin, dense skin, which contributes to long-term preservation of appearance and prevents cracking. The dry matter content (brix) reaches 5.8, making this hybrid particularly suitable for processing into ketchup, tomato paste, as well as for drying and sun-drying.

Tomato Rodion is characterized by good transportability and resistance to adverse conditions, which allows maintaining the quality of the harvest in field conditions for a long time. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is an excellent choice for open-ground cultivation, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
