The tomato variety RODIMOY POGREBOK is a tall indeterminate plant with outstanding yield. The fruit ripening period is about 115 days. The fruits of this variety are flat-round, weighing 200–300 g, forming clusters of 2–4 fruits. They are characterized by tender flesh and thin skin, making them versatile for fresh use in salads as well as for canning, making tomato paste, and juices.
RODIMOY POGREBOK is recommended for cultivation in plastic and glass-covered greenhouses, providing optimal conditions for growth and fruiting. Sowing for seedlings is carried out at the end of March – beginning of April, and pinching is done at the stage of the first true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted into the ground after the end of spring frosts, when the plants are 35–40 days old. Proper plant formation requires staking the plants a few days after transplanting.
Plant formation is carried out as a single stem with removal of all suckers and lower leaves, as well as pinching the growth point at the end of the vegetative period. This agronomic practice improves plant ventilation and lighting, positively affecting the quality and quantity of the harvest. The recommended planting scheme is 40x60 cm, providing sufficient space for each plant's development and ease of care.
