Pink Giant Tomato — a medium-late determinate variety with a strong, tall plant reaching 1.5–2 meters in height. The plant has a sturdy stem and medium internodes, requiring pruning and support for proper growth. Leaves resemble potato leaves, while fruits are pinkish-red, flat-round, ribbed, and fleshy. Fruit weight ranges from 250–300 grams to 800 grams, sometimes reaching 1 kilogram. This variety is primarily intended for salads, has excellent taste qualities, and is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into tomato products. Suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. Planting is recommended in sunny areas with loamy soils enriched with organic fertilizers, protected from cold winds. Optimal preceding crops are legumes, cucurbits, root crops, and leafy vegetables; however, avoid planting tomatoes after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, or physalis. Sowing for seedlings is done in early March, and transplanting into the ground occurs in the second decade of May, with spacing of 60x60 cm. To achieve high yields, prune plants to one or two stems, pinch off the first flower clusters, and leave no more than 3–4 fruits per truss. Regular and abundant watering is required until fruit ripening, along with two feedings: during flowering and upon fruit set. When proper agrotechnical practices are followed, the plant is resistant to diseases; however, preventive treatments are recommended for pest control. High yield — up to 25 kg of fruit per plant. Fruits store well at low temperatures and good ventilation for up to one month, making this variety convenient for long-term storage and use.
