Tomato Roccia

New Generation Italian Breeding

The "Roccia" tomato is a complex hybrid officially registered in 2025. Its market entry addresses the needs of professional vegetable growers seeking a balance between high productivity and stability in a changing climate. Developed using modern breeding (SZ) techniques, this hybrid embodies the best practices of the Italian agronomic school.

Key Features

• Genetic Potential: The complex hybrid structure provides enhanced resistance to pathogens, which is critical for achieving a marketable yield without excessive pesticide use.
• Efficiency: The hybrid is optimized for intensive cultivation technologies. It responds predictably to fertilization and irrigation, allowing farmers to accurately forecast harvest timelines.
• Fruit Quality: Its Italian origin guarantees superior taste characteristics. The fruits feature a dense structure, making them ideal for long-distance transport and extended storage without losing their market appeal.

"Roccia" is aimed at commercial farms serving both the fresh market and the processing industry. Due to its adaptability, the hybrid shows excellent results across various soil and climatic zones. It is the choice for those prioritizing 2025 innovations and aiming to minimize risks when growing tomatoes in both open and protected ground.
