Platon F1

Platon F1 — a mid-early determinate tomato hybrid with a vegetation period of about 116 days. The plant is strong, forming dense, cube-shaped or round-oval fruits weighing 80-90 grams. Due to the presence of the Crimson gene, the fruits have a bright, saturated red color and excellent flavor. High lycopene and dry matter content (about 6%) make this tomato particularly valuable for tomato paste production, as well as for fresh consumption.

The hybrid has high yield — up to 110 tons per hectare, and its fruit maturity uniformity exceeds 90%. The fruits easily detach from the calyx, facilitating mechanized harvesting. Moreover, Platon F1 has high transportability, allowing it to maintain its market appearance during transport and storage.

Platon F1 is resistant to major tomato diseases, including verticillium wilt, fusarium (races 1 and 2), nematodes, bacterial spot, and phytophthora. These qualities make it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The hybrid is produced in the USA and is recognized as one of the best for industrial tomato paste production.
