Tomato Poncho

Tomato Poncho (PL 6215 F1) is a medium-early determinate hybrid with a low-growing, compact bush and well-developed leaf canopy that effectively protects fruit from sunburn. The plant exhibits high uniformity and high fruit load, contributing to a stable and abundant yield. The vegetative period is 70-75 days from transplanting, allowing for a relatively early harvest.

The fruits of tomato Poncho have a plum-like shape, deep red color, and dense structure without a core. The average weight of one fruit is 90-100 grams. Due to its characteristics, tomatoes are suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant responds well to mineral and organic fertilizers and requires regular watering for active fruit formation.

The hybrid shows high resistance to major diseases, such as verticillium wilt and fusarium wilt (races 1, 2), significantly simplifying care and increasing yield reliability. The potential yield is 5-7 kg per plant, making tomato Poncho an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers seeking high-quality and stable harvests.
