OZIRIS

Tomato variety OZIRIS is medium-maturing, with a ripening period of 105 to 125 days. The plant is indeterminate, medium-height, reaching 150-170 cm, making it suitable for cultivation in protected ground, such as in plastic greenhouses. The plant is trained into a single stem, removing suckers and lower leaves, and pinching the growth tip at the end of the vegetative period to improve fruiting. Recommended planting scheme — 40x60 cm, and staking the plants is mandatory a few days after transplanting seedlings, which is carried out at the end of April — beginning of May after transplanting in the cotyledon stage.

Tomato OZIRIS fruits are round, slightly ribbed, dense, weighing 100-120 grams. Immature fruits are green with a dark green spot near the calyx, while ripe fruits acquire a brownish-red hue with a brown spot near the calyx. The flesh is juicy, raspberry-red, with an exquisite flavor. The fruits are 3-4-celled, which contributes to their density and good market appeal.

The variety is resistant to Cladosporium and Tobacco Mosaic Virus, ensuring stable and prolonged fruiting. Yield in plastic greenhouses reaches 10-12.6 kg per square meter. Fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, home cooking, canning, and pickling, making the variety popular among gardeners and tomato lovers.
