Tomato variety "Orlikhe Serdtshe" is a medium-early determinate variety with a maturation period from germination to the beginning of fruiting of about 100-120 days. The plants of this variety are strong, medium-height, reaching a height of 1.2-1.5 meters and require staking and pinching for proper formation, ideally into two stems. The plant is heat- and light-loving, recommended to be grown by seedling method, transplanting seedlings at the age of 50-60 days, as well as possible by direct sowing of seeds into the soil after treatment with potassium permanganate solution. The fruits of tomato "Orlikhe Serdtshe" have a characteristic heart-shaped form with a slightly ribbed structure and are colored in pinkish-red. They are large, weighing from 200 to 500 grams, with juicy, medium-density flesh of pink color. Inside the fruits there are 3-4 seed chambers. The flesh is characterized by high sugar content and high levels of vitamins and dry matter, giving the fruits an excellent sweet taste with a delicate skin. These tomatoes are ideal for salads and fresh consumption. The variety is characterized by good resistance to diseases and adverse growing conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in the middle zone, primarily in greenhouses. Due to its characteristics, "Orlikhe Serdtshe" is a popular Russian amateur variety that combines high fruit quality and convenient agrotechnology.
