Tomato MAMIN-SIBIRYAK

The Mamin-Siberian tomato variety is a medium-early, high-yielding variety developed by Siberian breeders and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The mature plant reaches a height of 1.2 to 1.5 meters and forms a bush with 3-4 stems, which are recommended to be tied to a support for easier care and better fruit formation. The plant produces 5 to 8 clusters, each bearing 5-7 elongated, pepper-shaped fruits with a slight thickening at the base.

The fruits of the Mamin-Siberian tomato have a mass of 100 to 170 grams, characterized by dense, fleshy texture and rich red color. The variety is valued for its excellent taste qualities and is especially suitable for whole-fruit canning and pickling due to its pleasant flavor and good fruit density. The first fruits appear approximately on day 85 after germination, making it a medium-early variety.

For cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings 60-70 days before transplanting to the final location. Seeds are soaked and sown at a depth of about 1 cm with an optimal germination temperature of 23-25°C. Pinching is performed after the appearance of the second true leaf. When transplanting to the ground, it is recommended to plant 3-5 plants per square meter. The variety responds well to fertilizers and requires regular care to achieve maximum yield.
