Tomato MUAR

Technical Potential of the Muar Variety

The "Muar" tomato by Agrofirma Aelita is a determinate cultivar, developed by a team of breeders including N.V. Nastenko, V.G. Kachaynik, and A.V. Kandoba. The primary technical advantage of this material lies in its optimized growth pattern: the determinate growth habit allows the plant to naturally terminate its main stem after setting a specific number of trusses. This significantly reduces labor requirements for manual pruning and directs the plant's energy resources directly into fruit development.

Agrotechnical Specs and Maturity

The maturation period for this seed material ranges from 100 to 120 days from germination. For a professional grower, this provides a clear window for crop rotation planning. Whether cultivated in open fields or protected structures, the variety exhibits stable development, responding well to standard fertilization protocols for determinate tomatoes.

• Plant type: Determinate (compact size, ease of maintenance).
• Fruit morphology: Round shape ensures high marketability for transport and simplifies mechanical or manual sizing.
• Color profile: Deep red pigmentation indicates a balanced lycopene content.

This variety is engineered for uniform harvest timing. The compact habit of the bush allows for higher planting density without compromising airflow, which is critical for fungal disease prevention. The genetic stability guaranteed by the originator, Agrofirma Aelita, ensures predictable outcomes when cultivation standards are met.
