MEGADOR

Tomato Megador is a medium-maturing indeterminate variety, reaching up to 180 cm in height with a vegetation period of 105 to 115 days. The plant forms one or two stems, requiring staking and moderate suckering, which promotes its successful growth both in open ground and protected soil. The fruits are flat-round, slightly ribbed, pink-red, meaty, and dense, weighing around 300 grams, although individual specimens can reach up to 800 grams.

The variety is characterized by high yield, ranging from 12 to 15 kg per square meter. Megador is resistant to diseases and low temperatures, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. During seedling stage, the plant demonstrates stable growth, and flower bud, inflorescence, and fruit set occur normally, ensuring stable fruiting.

Despite its high productivity and good disease resistance, the taste qualities of the fruits are evaluated inconsistently: the flavor may be neutral or nearly bland, and the core may sometimes have a coarse fibrous structure. Nevertheless, Megador tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into tomato products, expanding their culinary applications.
