YALIK

The tomato 'Yalik' is a medium-maturing indeterminate variety with elongated, slightly pointed cylindrical fruits resembling small boats. The fruits have a dense structure, with 2-3 elongated seed chambers, and weigh between 80 to 120 grams. Unripe tomatoes are green, while ripe ones develop a deep red color. Medium-height plants are well-branched, with medium green leaves and complex inflorescences, making this variety suitable for growing in greenhouses, polytunnels, and open fields.

The 'Yalik' variety is highly resistant to many fungal diseases, including blossom end rot, which is confirmed by minimal fruit losses even under adverse conditions. The plant forms up to 16 trusses, with 8 fruits per truss, ensuring high yield—up to 10-11 kg per square meter under plastic coverings. Tomatoes have an excellent flavor with a harmonious blend of mild sweetness and acidity, plus a pleasant aftertaste. By September, the fruits become especially juicy and flavorful.

The fruits of tomato 'Yalik' are versatile in use: they withstand heat treatment while retaining their appearance and taste, making them ideal for canning and preparing various dishes.
