Tomato MEDALIST

The tomato variety Medalist is a tall plant with an indeterminate growth habit, reaching a height of 1.6 to 2 meters. Plants require staking and pinching, and the best results are achieved by forming into one or two stems. Leaves are of the typical tomato shape, and inflorescences are intermediate type. This variety is distinguished by high yield and stable fruiting even under adverse climatic conditions, confirmed by successful cultivation in various seasons. Medalist fruits are large, round-oval in shape with ribs, weighing 300 to 800 grams, sometimes up to 1 kilogram. Their color is an attractive two-toned pink-orange hue with red streaks inside. The flesh is juicy, fleshy, multi-chambered, medium density, with excellent aroma and sweet taste. Fruits are resistant to cracking and free of spots, making them appealing for fresh consumption and market sales. The Medalist variety is versatile in use: its fruits are ideal for fresh eating, salads, juices, and sauces. In the middle zone, it is recommended to grow in greenhouses to achieve maximum yield and quality. Due to its flavor qualities and large fruit size, this tomato is popular among gardeners and consumers who appreciate the combination of high yield and superior taste.
