Marshal

Tomato Marshal — a mid-season Siberian variety created by the Novosibirsk agrofirm 'Siberian Garden', distinguished by high productivity and large fruits. From germination to the beginning of ripening, it takes 110-115 days. The plant is indeterminate, robust, reaching up to 2 meters in protected soil and about 1.2-1.3 meters in open ground. The bush requires proper staking and shaping for optimal growth and yield.

The fruits of tomato Marshal are flat-round, slightly ribbed, bright red, beautiful and glossy. The average fruit weight is 300-400 grams, although individual specimens may reach more than 1 kilogram. The flesh is dense, juicy, with a rich sweet taste, making the tomatoes ideal for salads, sauces, juices and puree. The fruits have excellent storability, ripen well after harvest and are suitable for transportation.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 5 kg per plant — as well as resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and alternaria. However, it requires careful care, as it is susceptible to phytophthora and needs bush shaping.
