Tomato Luna

The Breeding Excellence of Agrofirma Allen

The «Luna» tomato is the result of dedicated breeding by the specialists at Ooo Agrofirma Allen (originators: A. V. Shelobodkin and R. V. Skvortsova). This variety serves as a prime example of high-quality domestic seed material designed for consistent performance, specifically tailored for short growing seasons.

Agronomic Characteristics and Potential

The primary value of this variety lies in its early maturity, with the time from emergence to the start of harvesting not exceeding 90 days. This rapid development makes «Luna» an optimal choice for regions with challenging climatic conditions, ensuring a harvest before the arrival of adverse weather.

• Fruit type: Plum-shaped, which provides excellent transportability and an aesthetic appearance.
• Weight: A compact 20–40 grams, typical for dessert or cocktail tomatoes.
• Color: A unique creamy hue that distinguishes the variety from standard red or pink tomatoes.

These tomatoes have earned their place in both the home gardening segment and specialized farms focusing on niche crops. Due to their distinct shape and delicate color, «Luna» fruits are ideal for whole-fruit canning and culinary presentations. The firm skin, combined with creamy pulp, offers an excellent balance of flavor and marketability.

By choosing seeds from Ooo Agrofirma Allen, agronomists acquire material well-adapted to the local agricultural environment. Stable genetics and a strictly controlled seed multiplication process ensure uniform germination and predictable plant development, which are critical factors for successful commercial production.
