Description Leila
Tomato Leyla is a tall, mid-season variety with high yield. The plant has a strong, open growth habit, with medium-sized green leaves. The tomato fruits are cylindrical, smooth, and uniform, with a bright pink color and rich flesh. They are juicy, very sweet, and have an outstanding flavor. Fruits can grow on the plant either in clusters of 6 or individually, with individual fruits reaching large sizes. The Leyla variety is an indeterminate hybrid with simple inflorescences. The fruits have a smooth surface and two-chambered structure, with an average fruit weight of 12 to 15 grams. The yield of this variety reaches 6.9 kg per square meter, indicating its high productivity. The plant is resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew and yellow mosaic of zucchini, ensuring stable harvest quality. Tomato Leyla should be sown directly into open ground at the end of May to early June, when soil temperature reaches 10–12 °C at a depth of 10 cm. The optimal temperature for growth and development is 21–26 °C. It is important to note that the plant does not tolerate frost, so avoid planting in cold periods. Seeds do not require pre-soaking before sowing.
