LEGENDA KOKTEBELYA

Legenda Koktebelya — a mid-early indeterminate tomato variety that begins fruiting 110-115 days after germination. Plants are vigorous with long dark-green leaves; it is recommended to form them into 1-2 stems with mandatory tying of clusters. The first flower cluster forms above the 8th-9th leaf, and subsequent clusters form every 2-3 leaves. Planting density is 2-3 plants per square meter, ensuring high yields — over 25 kg/m² in protected soil and about 20 kg/m² in open ground.

The fruits are large, flat-round, bright red with a glossy smooth skin, weighing 300 to 600 grams, and may reach 1.5 kg when fruit numbers per cluster are reduced and fertilizers are applied more intensively. Tomatoes are multi-chambered, meaty, with juicy flesh containing few small seeds. They have a rich sweet flavor with a slight refreshing acidity, rich in sugars, lycopene, vitamins, and minerals. The fruit skin is tough and resistant to cracking.

The variety is resistant to most tomato diseases, heat-tolerant, and drought-resistant, allowing cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground with temporary plastic cover. Legenda Koktebelya is ideal for fresh consumption as well as for processing into juice, ketchup, and tomato paste, thanks to its large and flavorful fruits.
