Tomato Krasavchik

Focusing on Large Fruit Size and Consistent Yield

The 'Krasavchik' tomato, developed by the Tomagros breeding and seed company, is a go-to choice for professional growers who prioritize premium market-grade production. This indeterminate variety has proven itself as a reliable crop for greenhouse cultivation and open-field systems using trellises.

Operational Scenarios and Agronomic Efficiency

The main objective for commercial farms utilizing this variety is meeting the demand for large-fruited tomatoes (200g+) with high market appeal. Its flattened-round shape and deep red color ensure excellent demand in the fresh produce market.

• Growth Cycle: With a maturation period of 100-120 days, producers can effectively plan continuous harvesting.
• Indeterminate Growth: The plant requires consistent pruning and staking (forming 1-2 stems). This intensive management is rewarded with high productivity, with potential yields exceeding 190 tons per hectare.
• Agrotechnical Support: 'Krasavchik' responds well to drip irrigation and targeted feeding schedules. Its robust root system effectively utilizes soil nutrients to maintain fruit size and quality throughout the extended harvest season.

The density and durability of the fruit make 'Krasavchik' an efficient choice for supply chains, as it minimizes post-harvest losses. It serves as a strong asset for farms looking to balance high-yield performance with consistent, high-quality, marketable fruit.
