Tomato Grand is an early determinate hybrid with a maturation period of about 90 days. The plant is compact, low-growing, reaching a height of 0.8–1 meter, with a strong root system and typical tomato leaves that well protect the fruits. The bushes are resistant to a range of diseases, including viruses V, F, F1, and N, and exhibit high drought tolerance, allowing cultivation in both field conditions and moderate climates. The hybrid is suitable for mechanized harvesting, simplifying agricultural operations. Grand tomato fruits have a plum or round-cubic shape, red color, and dense skin, ensuring good storage and transport without damage. Fruit mass varies from 70 to 120 grams, depending on growing conditions, and they have high sugar content (Brix 5.0–5.5%), giving them a sweet taste. Tomatoes form clusters of 8–12 fruits, ripen uniformly, and contain a small number of seeds, making them convenient for processing and whole-fruit canning. Grand hybrid is characterized by high yield — 80 to 120 tons per hectare. Immature fruits ripen well after harvest and can be stored for a long time, expanding their usage and marketing potential. Due to its characteristics, tomato Grand is a versatile variety, suitable for both fresh consumption and industrial processing, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
