Seeds are sown in seedlings in March-April at a depth of about 1 cm, and pinching is performed at the stage of 2-3 true leaves. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses in April-May, and into open ground in June, following a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. For optimal growth, it is recommended to plant up to 3 plants per square meter, up to 4 plants when trained as a single stem. Care includes timely watering, feeding with complex mineral fertilizers, pinching, and preventive measures against diseases and pests. The fruits of tomato 'Funny Neighbor' are large, weighing from 250 to 350 grams, round, ribbed, with a distinctly ridged surface resembling a flower. They have a red or pinkish hue and a multi-chambered structure with small seed cavities. The flesh is dense, sweet, and succulent, with a rich tomato flavor and aroma, making this variety especially appealing for fresh consumption. Due to its taste qualities and fruit structure, the fruits are ideal for slicing, salad preparation, canning in their own juice, as well as for making tomato juice and paste. The variety is characterized by high yield: strong stems are evenly loaded with clusters of 4-8 succulent tomatoes, allowing for harvesting no less than a bucket of fruit per plant. 'Funny Neighbor' adapts well to various growing conditions, including plastic and glass greenhouses. For successful cultivation, proper care is essential, including staking and pinching after transplanting into the ground, which promotes the formation of strong, healthy bushes capable of producing a rich harvest of quality tomatoes.
